Prescriptions:

We do not prescribe certain potentially dangerous medications, such as Ambien, clonidine, gabapentin or muscle relaxers. If you have a condition that requires such a medication, you will need to make an appointment with your usual prescribing physician.

Controlled substances cannot be prescribed online. For example, it is illegal for anyone to prescribe or sell Adderall online. Other substances that cannot be prescribed online include stimulants (like Ritalin), antipsychotic medications (such as Seroquel, Zyprexa, Risperdol), sedatives and sleep aids (including Xanax, Ambien, Ativan, and Lunestra), and narcotics (like morphine, oxycodone, and Vicodin). We also do not prescribe medical marijuana.

Payments:

1. If you could not make your payment from our website (we are working on this functionality), we will contact you to process your payment before conducting the tele-consultation.

2. We do not accept or process any insurance carriers at this moment. Your insurance may cover the cost of the tele-consultation, and you may use your insurance to pay for your drugs at the pharmacy, for your labs and for other third-party tests.

3. Unless we are unable to consult with you during your scheduled tele-conference, our consultation fee is non-refundable. You’re not eligible for a refund because of medication costs or insurance coverage. If the pharmacy claims they don’t have your prescription, email us immediately at help@teleoralpathology.com. We will resend your prescription.

4. Your payment only covers your consultation with an Oral Pathologist. Just like any doctor’s visit, you still have to pay for any additional costs that may result from the consultation such as prescription medicines and therapy.
